Coccyx pain !! Not sure
Hello, I am having a sudden pain in a spot exactlt in the middle of buttocks, I am not sure if the it’s the coccyx!! It feels like some has hit me hard in this particular small spot. It started 3 weeks ago but it was mild to slight pain and it’s something absolutely different than lower backpain, it disappeared in 2 days, but yesterday it came back suddenly with no warning and it’s quite painful this time i can’t make a move or bowel movement or cough even gasses without getting this spot pain
Your symptoms suggest coccydynia.(inflammation of coccyx).
Try:
1. Sitz bath ( A tub of hot water with dettol in which affected are has to be dipped in- 10 mins twice daily) for 10 days.
2. Medications like Enzomac, Tendocare and Ceftum will help.
3. Sit on a soft pillow or coccydynia pillow.
Health Tips
Relieving pressure off the coccyx is prime in recovery from coccydynia.
