Mosquitoes near medicine cap – Is it still safe to drink?
I have been using this syrup (Digeraft Plus) for the past two days.
Every day, I measure it using the medicine cap and drink directly from the cap.
I didn’t clean the cap properly.
Today, when I opened the bottle to take the syrup, I saw some medicine around the cap and also noticed a few mosquitoes near it.
Can I still safely drink this medicine?
I am also taking Vasoprazan (acid-reducing medicine) daily.
Please guide.

Mosquitoes and in common any insects could spread infections . so discarding such potentially infected medicine would be a prudent move as a health conscious person. i would leave it your discretion whether to use the contaminated syrup or spend another petty amount to buy a new bottle of syrup.

You need to understand the nature of mosquitoes. They are usually attracted to sweat, and the rainy season is the most active time for them. To prevent mosquito breeding, clean bottles with fresh water regularly, keep them in a cool place, and do not leave them exposed. Yes, you can use them after taking these precautions
