Unable to view the test results in the attachments. As your
HbA1c is 6.3%, it falls in the pre-diabetic range which means the chances of you getting
diabetes are higher in the future. At this point, with changes in diet and lifestyle it is possible to get the levels down to normal, less than 5.7%. The precautions you should take now are, limit or avoid added sugars such as
sugar in coffee, tea etc. Cut down on consumption of even natural sweetness like jaggery and even honey to an extent. What helps is taking smaller portions of carbohydrate containing foods like rice and roti, and increasing portions of fiber rich and protein rich food. Instead of having fruits along with meals, have them as snacks between the meals. A diet plan customized to your needs, lifestyle (job, activity etc. ) as well as your food preferences will help you handle this problem and get into the safe zone from the pre-diabetes one. I will be able to evaluate the
liver values as well once I get to see those. Please contact if you would like a detailed consult.
