Hlo dr, can i take alkasol syrup without gas medicine like pan 40...and how long to take alkasol syrup plz say...

Alkasol is an alkaline mixture which is partially absorbed and makes the urine alkaline ( normally the urine is acidic).
If anything it will help the action of Pan 40.
You should take Alkasol as long as you are taking the antibiotics (which act better if the urine is alkaline).
If you are taking it only as a symptomatic relief then you should not take it for more than a week.
