Thanks for sharing your symptoms. — intermittent abdominal pain, gas relief giving temporary comfort, and an occasional false urge to poop — this likely points to a mild gastrointestinal disturbance, commonly due to: 1. Gastrocolic Reflex – urge to poop after eating, especially with irritation. 2. Gas & Bloating – often from diet, mild infection, or indigestion. 3. Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) – if it's recurring often without any serious illness. 4. Mild infection (viral/bacterial gastroenteritis) – if it started suddenly 5 days ago. 5. Spasm or motility issues – causing false urge or cramps.
Next Steps
Eat light, non-spicy, home-cooked food for a few days. Avoid: Oily or fried food Milk or dairy (for a few days) Caffeine, soda, packaged foods Include: Cumin (jeera) water, fennel (saunf) tea, ginger Boiled rice, banana, curd, apple (BRAT diet) Lots of water Digene gel– relieves gas Drotaverine or Mebeverine – for spasms Probiotics (e.g., Sporlac, Vibact) – help restore gut flora Pantoprazole or Rabeprazole (empty stomach) – if there's acidity
Health Tips
If this keeps happening off and on, it may be mild IBS or gas-related colitis, which is not dangerous but needs diet control and gut support.

Dear Practo User. Thanks for sending across your query. Your symptoms suggest gas-related irritable bowel or mild digestive disturbance. Try a light diet, stay hydrated, and consider simethicone or antacids. If symptoms persist beyond a week or worsen, a stool test and abdominal exam are advised.
