Amniotic fluid is on higher side in 29 weeks. All tests and scans are normal. No gestational diabetes. Anamoly scan is ok. Doctor advised not to take sugar. Does amniotic fluid really reduce after avoiding sugar intake? Or do I need to take some other precautions?

Amniotic fluid very high it incates diabetes in mother or any congenital malformations in baby so if it is high better to check for mother suger levels and fetal scan for malformations and fetal echo
Share the ultrasound report.most common reason for increased amniotic fluid is idiopathic - no reason . If anomaly scan is normal and sugar test is normal then no need to worry
