Based on the symptoms described, I would not recommend making any changes to the current medication without a detailed evaluation. The symptoms of hot flushes, palpitations, and an increased heart rate could be related to multiple factors, and it is essential to assess them in the context of the overall health and treatment plan. I strongly suggest consulting a General Medicine Physician for a thorough examination and advice. They can evaluate whether these symptoms are side effects of the medication, related to the underlying condition, or caused by other factors like anxiety or lifestyle. The physician will also be able to determine the best course of action if any adjustments are necessary. Meanwhile, ensure regular monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate, and note any triggers or patterns associated with these symptoms to discuss during the consultation.
