He will require a thorough examination, blood tests and MRI brain for a detailed assessment and proper diagnosis, before any treatment can be started. Comorbid depression and anxiety rates are high and will need evaluation as well.
Next Steps
take him to a clinic rather than a bigger hospital as the crowd and noise in the latter may frighten and upset him even more. meet the doctor in person alone before you take your father, and discuss the signs and symptoms with the doctor beforehand so you can save on time when you go with your father.
