Dementia and alzheimer
My grandmother is 80 years old and was diagnosed with alzeimer and dementia. She is getting her treatment but her personality is still progressing toward a very negative one. It is getting very hard for everyone to understand how should one deal with it. Is there any solution for it?

Dementia is a progressive condition and over time behaviour and psychiatric symptoms arise, which make it hard for caregivers to manage. Medications are important as they slow the progression and make patients manageable. Treatment may need to be reviewed which can be done after detailed discussion.
