Allergy patients can take vaccination?
Hi sir/ madam, Past 1.5 years I have allergy cough I will get cold easily when I eat some spicy kind of foods and some food changes when I cough I will get small phlegm. I have taken lots of treatment sometimes I got cure but not completely I got relief from allergy cough. So here my question is did I can taken vaccination? Nothing to worry about taking vaccination? Because I got cold sometimes in my lungs so vaccination is about lungs? Should I can take or not? Please give your best suggestions doctors so that I will take vaccination immediately. Please kindly let me know? Thanks

Hi, from what you have explained related to allergy is mostly mild and managed by medications. As of vaccination part is concerned it can be take under medical supervision of minimum 1hour post vaccination for any acute adverse effect related and which can be managed under medical supervision and safe to take In your turn as we don't have to risk due to COVID or it's related effects.

You can take vaccine. Vaccination is not contraindicated in allergic conditions, there might be fever and body ache post vaccination but that's nothing to be concerned about. Monitor your vitals after vaccination. If you feel any breathlessness immediately consult a physician
