Madam the only way to diagnose any issues in thyroid and the neck nodes is by using ultrasound and fnac mam.. so it doesn't mean that you have cancer automatically . This is irrational fear. Don't worry at all.. review with your doctor after getting scan and fnac done

Hi, i have noted your concern, Coming to a diagnosis of cancer will be to early to say just be seeing neck swelling, kindly let the doctors do that job for you, so let them evaluate and tell the diagnosis. Sometimes neck swelling can be due to multiple reasons Ear infection, sinus infection, dental infection, some rare type of infections, autoimmune diseases, cysts, lymphnodes, viral infections lastly cancer.
Next Steps
Kindly follow the advise of your doctor and just relax as of now until and unless you have the report of FNAC ok
