Alkaline phosphatase level
Hi I want to know, what is the reason for the increased level of ALP which is 294 as per the tat done today for my dad.
He is not having any medical health problem. He used to have skin allergy , so the doctor made him do the liver test after following a medication for a month.

U need to undergo atleast an ultrasound abdomen n pelvis to know status of gall bladder n bileduct. If no stone then thorough evaluation would be needed.

Raised Alkaline phosphate could be because of liver problems or obstruction of the bile ducts
He requires to get a ultrasound of the whole abdomen
Also post the result of Liver function tests
