Your child is probably suffering from adenoiditis which is infected/ inflammed adenoids. Adenoids when inflammed cause obstruction of posterior openings of nose. This may cause sleep disturbance and many other complications. So if your child is having persistent symptoms, consult an ENT specialist. He will perform a DNE and imaging and decide accordingly.
