Adenoid issue
My son have Grade 4 Adenoid from last 2 to 3 years, He have issues like Mouth Breathing, Snoring
No other issue observed till now - Do I need to go for Adenoid removal procedure or it's possible to auto cure of Adenoid
Major impact seen on his teeth and face look, some challenges on clarity voice (Not sure due to this issue)

Yes if adenoids enlargement is causing typical adenoids facies, kindly get one X-ray to assess size of adenoids

Hello, yes adenoid enlargement changes teeth and face appearance. Get medications and if the symptoms persist and the adenoid size does not reduce you can opt for surgery

All issues are due to adenoid, kindly get adenoid surgery done at the earliest as it leads to problem with facial look, attention, focus and may lead to ear/hearing problems in future. Mouth breathing leads to disuse of nasal muscles we don’t want that.

Hello, since your child is having grade 4 adenoid and he us 4 years old, First we can proceed for medical management. And upto 5 years we can try for medical management. If not getting alright with it, we can proceed for surgical management. Most of times, the medical management can be found helpful to manage the situation.

In my opinion it’s better to do adenoidectomy as it started affecting his facial bone and change is face shape and all also chance of grade 4 adenoid to regress in size is less
And once the procedure is done he will be quickly relieved of his symptoms and no need for any nasal sprays later on
Now latest technological advances like coblation or microdebrider adenoidectomy creates an absolutely blood less field and can even discharge the patient on same day if surgery is performed in the morning
