Addiction
This is about one of my friend who is addicted to alcohol. He doesn't talk about the issues that he has due to which he and his family is suffering. There is lots of fight among the family members . He does not listen to any one of his family member and he has decided in his mind that he will die like this. Can hypnotherapy will help or any other solution. He will not take any medication . He is also facing medical issues but he is ignoring them all and not taking proper treatment. Is there a way where in his psychological issues sorted out without having medicine. Not only this how to convince him to consult a psychologist.

Hi... I have personally worked on several such young adults who went through such issues and sometimes came to a breaking point in their lives but what matters here is whether they come for a therapeutic session or not. Whether they are open to just talk and discuss. Whether there is anyone who can assure their presence in the initial sessions or not. Please get this straight, no one can help someone who is unwilling to get better but if even they just come for a 45 min. session every week for 15-20 such sessions, a lot can be achieved and the severity of such situation can be brought down to minimum.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. CBT along with Lifestyle Guidance is required. Joining a De-addiction Centre is also an option.
