Acute follicular tonsillitis
I have been diagnosed with acute follicular tonsillitis and i am on cepodem xp 325 , took 2 doses but still there are pus pockets i can see. Also fever is constantly 99.4 to 99.8 even after taking paracetamol and aceclofenac Does fever takes longer to subside?

Usually antibiotics take Atleast 5 days to act however you can add tab metrogyl 400 to get better results and use some gargles ( betadine) If however it’s not subsiding visit nearby ent surgeon or consult online
