I need to know more details to be able to help you like your height weight and more. A couple of things are important to remember for a diabetic. 1. The time of meals. There should not be long gaps. 2. Have more of complex carbohydrates in your meal to keep the blood sugar stable. 3. Since the patient is on insulin, it's imp also to make sure his sugar levels don't drop. You can ping me on personal chat with more details.
