I'm having acne in my side of the face and it's getting bad now. and after i used flax gel on my face it made my skin darker on that area. i used niacinade 12% (foxtale), it's works well for the rest of my face but the pimples keep coming on the sides. I have been trying different products just to clear my face with acne. I have tried so many things but nothing seem to work properly. I had a good routine of using 12% niacinamide serum (foxtale) and centalla and niacinamide moisturizer and kojic and kesar sunscreen (both from dr sheth). But recently I tried this rice water toner (plum) and since then the pimples on the side of my face has started. Before that I was using flax seed gel. For sometime it was fine but I started noticing darkening at one side of my face where I had pimples. So I stopped using but it gave me a good glow for the rest of my face. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

All skin types doesn't respond to same type of products. It's advisable to use skin care routine and acne treatment depending on type of your skin. The product that works well for 1 person may cause acne in another person. So detailed history and images are required to come to a diagnosis and suitable treatment.
