Acne due to hormonal changes or not.
How to know if acne is caused by hormones? I've severe, painful acne and it has developed into bumps on my cheek and it leaves scars too. It has been years since I've been dealing with acne. I've consulted dermatologists too but the medication doesn't work. Even after 4 weeks of medication, my acne doesn't budge after which I get discouraged and then discontinue the medication. I don't know which specialist to consult now!?
