Acl grade 1 sprain. I got out for walks?

Please start with Physiotherapy. Basic range of motion exercises and quadriceps strengthening at least. Bedrest is not required. Continue long knee brace for a max total of 3 weeks (10 more days), after which get your knee evaluated before you move on to the next phase.

Physiotherapy and ICE will help.

Avoid uneven surfaces and running till you get evaluated.
