Partial tears can heal well, you need to make sure your vitamin d levels are above 70 and b12 above 300. Get injectable vitamins if not. Protect the knee in a long knee brace for 6 weeks. Yes you can take tendocare, it can cause some acidity and it's not a must. Varied opinions on its use.

Medicines don't help much in such injuries, however it doesn't cause more harm also. What you need is a good Rehabilitation.
