Abscess on butt crack
This is the first time happening with me. Has got an abscess on the butt-crack but it's not yet healed. Nearing to a week now. Has been trying with Antibiotics, Warm/Cold Press but still I don't see the head comming up. I am not sure whom to visit in this case. I think draining it out will be the best, but for that it should have atleast the head comming up what I think. Please advice.

A boil, also referred to as a skin abscess, is a localized infection deep in the skin. A boil generally starts as a reddened, tender area. Over time, the area becomes firm and hard. Eventually, the center of the abscess softens and becomes filled with infection-fighting white blood cells that the body sends from the blood stream to eradicate the infection. This collection of white blood cells, bacteria, and proteins is known as pus. Homoeopathy has natural remedies to cure boils naturally by increasing the immunity thus reducing the recurrence too You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance

Hello.... Antibiotics will never help for the head to come out... Also cold press is of no use.... Use a hot & wet press...3_4times a day. Also you must consult a Good Homoeopath nearby

I would advise you to visit a general surgeon so as to examine the lesion and confirm the diagnosis, as pilonodal sinus has to be ruled out. The general surgeon will also help in draining the abscess if required. The abscess can be managed with antibiotics, a topical antiseptic cream and hot fomentation. If the condition persists or worsens visit the ER at the earliest.
