Ultrasonic scaling, polishing followed by Bleaching of teeth. Toothpaste which claim to whiten the teeth usually contain higher percentage of abrasive which damage the topmost layer of tooth and may also cause sensitivity.Better to avoid such product. If using whitening products like whitening toothpaste  than don't forget to check for ida and ada seal of approval .

The yellow stains on the teeth can be both intrinsic or extrinsic.... the extrinsic stains can be removed by a procedure called scaling or teeth cleaning..... the intrinsic stains are a part of the chemical structure of the tooth and cannot be removed, but they can be adequately treated by camouflage treatment for best aesthetic results.... please consult your dentist for the correct diagnosis and the most appropriate treatment options.... Regards....

Hi..The shade of your teeth will be improved if you under go professional scaling and polishing to some extent ...but no cleaning (even professional) or tooth paste will give you a white teeth as shown in advertisements .The natural colour of healthy teeth is slight yellowish colour not pure white. If the colour is intrinsic (in to deeper layers) you have to under go chemical bleaching . Which  I would advice you to do when any special occasion do come up ..because constant bleaching will lead to sensitivity of teeth and extreme cases affect vitality of tooth. The movie / tv personalities whome you look upon have undergone cosmetic treatments such as veneers/ laminates/ crowns to attain perfect smile. So weigh your options carefully with your dentists advise .tc

It can be cleared only by seeing your teeth whether this yellow shade is ur natural teeth colour or is it plaque or calculus deposit on ur teeth.if plaque deposits are there they can be easily removed by scaling n polishing.but if ur natural shade of teeth is yellow then u might go for bleaching and can also go for esthetic veeneering of ur teeth to get a desired shade of teeth you want.
