Please go to an Experienced ORAL and MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON. Never leave any root piece in bone. That could cause infection further. The cost varies according to the surgeon and the complexity of the problem. Our clinic charges ₹4000 onwards for the same.

Coronectomy is the name of the procedure but it depends and most of the time the tooth should be removed completely.
Next Steps
Please Consult with OPG
Health Tips
better not to go with coronectomy. the third molar should be removed completely to avoid future problems.

Well majority of the cases are like that only, majority of the third molars have curved roots and the nerve is always below it.
Next Steps
You should get an OPG first, thats the first step towards the surgical extraction of that third molar. And we do not leave the roots of the third molars inside the bone, get the complete toot, crown along with the roots extracted, with little bit of bone cutting, which is advised in cases like this. Surgical third molar removal is costly. Consult ur concerned Dentist. He/She might help you.

In typical cases like yours it seems your wisdom tooth is anatomically challenging. So as diagnostic aid we should go for a CBCT of that area which will exactly show the approximation of the nerve with the root and curvature of the root. Ideally complete tooth is removed but when it is confirmed that removal of tooth completely might damage the nerve then doctor might leave a non-infectious part of root piece inside to avoid the aforementioned, which is succeeded by wait and watch for any further sign and symptoms.
Next Steps
Do a CBCT.
Health Tips
price range is variable according to Dentist.
