Isabgol (psyllium husk) is a good choice for softening stools and relieving constipation — it works by adding bulk and retaining water in the stool, making it easier to pass without straining. Anovate cream can help reduce external hemorrhoidal discomfort and swelling with short-term use. For water intake, aim for 2.5 to 3 liters per day — Isabgol specifically requires adequate water to work properly, so drinking a full glass of water immediately after taking it is essential, otherwise it can worsen constipation.
Next Steps
Take Isabgol once daily at night with a large glass of water. Increase dietary fiber through fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Avoid straining during bowel movements. If the new bump beside the skin tag is painful or growing, get it evaluated by a surgeon in person. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.
