About stroke recovery
Hi, This is manjunath,I am a stroke survivor,I had paralysis on my left side of the body,27 months before.now,my condition is,l can walk with the support of a cane,my hand is having movement,I can open my fibgers slowly,how to make it fast.please suggest.

Regaining nerve and muscle function and muscle strength is a slow process. U hv 2 do targeted exercises. Ur progress depends on how much exercises and activities u do.

Continue exercises under the supervision of physiotherapist n also repeat those twice or thrice a day as adviced by physiotherapist. As recovery of stroke is fast in early phase, with the passage of time it gets slow down so fast recovery also depends on the ur condition

Do exercise under supervision.Start stregthening exercise of lower and upper limb with weight cuffs.exrcise infront of mirror will correct ur posture,coordination as well ur confidence

Regular exercise under the guidance of an experienced Physiotherapist can help you in faster recovery. Also remember to learn to avoid compensatory movement patterns. Please perform full range of movement in all joints active/active assisted or passive depending on your motor strength and control.

Teach yourself by visual cue by performing action with opposite limb and then trying simultaneously on the affected side as well.

Take physiotherapy or consult a therapist on regular basis and do exercises daily. Since you are young, you can regain most of the function of your hand.

The maximum recovery a patient can get after stroke is 3 months first thing . Now under the supervision of physiotherapist please do exercises to gain these fine movements and gait training along with the Strengthening exercise.

Regular exercising under supervision will definitely help you recover better. If possible do exercises in front of mirror that's helps to register also avoids trick movements.

Focus on full range of motion exercise,balance and coordination exercise,try and use your left side maximum.

Weight bearing exercises like bridging,on fours, standing and leaning on your hands,weight shifts etc will help improve proprioception apart from that gripping exercises for hand to improve strength of hand muscles.Please continue with your exercise routine from a professional therapist for recovery.
