Hi. Myopia is short sightedness., means their is difficulty in seeing distance object, when myopia is associated with retinal changes , degenerative changes , high power( usually eye no above 5/ 6), it is called pathological myopia. Ppl with these kind of myopia should go for regular retinal checkup. As they are high risk for Retinal detachment, retinal hole etc. Gluacoma is kala motiya it is different entity and disease process.
