Ovulation usually happens about 14 days before your next period (not from the first day of your last period).
How to calculate:
Note the first day of your last period
If your cycle is 28 days → ovulation ≈ Day 14
If your cycle is longer/shorter → ovulation = cycle length − 14 days
How to track accurately:
Use a period/ovulation tracking app
Watch for fertile cervical mucus (clear, stretchy like egg white)
Use ovulation predictor kits (OPKs)
Track basal body temperature daily

Ovulation is expected to be in mid of your cycle of your cycles are very regular, like for a person who gets there cycle every 28-30 days ovulation will be between day 12-16
