Yes, get an Xray over this Fiber cast. One of the advantages of this type of cast is that it doesnt affect clarity of xray as much as usual plaster cast. Since it is expensive to apply. I wouldnt suggest removal for the sake of xray.

Health Tips
As with all casts. Be vary of any bluish discoloration of the toes or swelling. That would need urgent removal. Also make sure margins of this cast are well padded, or else sharp edges might impinge on skin.
