Is it mandatory to take medicine for diabetics, actually I'm controlling my blood glucose naturally by diet and exercise, my fasting gulcose is 110 and 2 hours after test is 140 without taking medicine. But my doctor is asking me to take medicine, what should I do.

You are a young diabetic and diabetes is a progressive disease. There are some drugs that can prevent the progression. If you wish to be without medicines, you must maintain your HbA1C below 6.5%
