Baby is preterm so demand is higher and feeding pattern can be frequent. Crying every 30–60 min doesn’t always mean low milk, sometimes it’s normal cluster feeding.
First important point – pumping output is not equal to actual milk production. Baby usually extracts more milk than pump.
What you can do:
• Try direct breastfeeding more frequently (8–12 times/day)
• Ensure proper latch (very important)
• Do skin-to-skin (KMC) as much as possible
• After breastfeeding, you can top up with expressed milk or formula if needed
