About Braces rubber bands.
Actually my Braces rubber bands are too loose and stained so i just want to ask that i have additional braces ligature ties so can i change them myself at home or it is harmful to change rubber bands at home. I just want to know that if i do this myself  at home  will it affect my treatment?? Please let me know if i can do so. Thank you.

You should not ideally fidget with the rubber bands yourself. Because if in the process you detach a bracket or cause displacement of wire, it might cause unwanted uncontrolled forces on your teeth. Always let your Orthodontist make whatever changes are necessary. Also your rubber bands are so loose perhaps because your appointment must be due? It might also be required to shift to a different wire.
