Doctor gave my daughter, who is 20 year old, Renerve plus capsule for her vitamin b12 deficiency and vitamin d capsule for vitamin D deficiency. Her vitamin b12 is 218. The capsule is prescribed for 6 months taken every day. Is it safe to take this vitamin b12 capsule for 6 months everyday ? Is the duration too long ?Rest all her parameters are normal .

No. Duration is not long. taking a vitamin B12 tablet for 6 months is generally safe because B12 is water-soluble, your body removes extra amounts, and doctors often prescribe 3 to 6 months of use to treat low levels or nerve issues. if it was given IM instead of oral B12, fewer doses may be required. even then monthly B12 IM injections would have been recommended for 6 months. so dont think much. its safe to use. just repeat B12 and vitamin D levels after correction

Yeah.no problem.its also water soluble vitamin ,so excess amount secrete in urine if hypervitaminosis occure.
