How you know... It's ankle sprain.... I mean either you have consulted some orthopaedic... Because sprain is a medical term used by all doctors only which means ligament tear.
And if it's really ankle sprain?? Suggest you to see some orthopaedic for rest recommendation and other precaution s to be taken.
Ask him when u can start physiotherapy?? That's my personal opinion to you
