It is unlikely that this bump/pain is because of your shoe that you wore during school. It is near the Achilles tendon. Such kind of pain is more common in people who themselves have Asthma/Diabetes/Thyroid disorders or whose family members have Asthma/Diabetes/Thyroid disorders. Do you or anyone in your family have these?
Next Steps
As of now, apply a crepe bandage over the ankle to give it rest. Don't apply it too tightly. Keep it comfortable...but wear it 24 hours a day (even at night). Remove it while having a bath and also remove it 5-6 times everyday to apply ice over the painful part. Don't apply any hot water bag/balm/gel/oil/turmeric over it. Also, take: *Tab Flexon (1 tablet after lunch and 1 tablet after dinner for 7 days) (if you are not allergic to it) *Tab Pantakind (40mg) (1 tablet before breakfast in the morning for 7 days) If the pain does not reduce after 7days, get the following tests done: Serum Uric Acid Serum RA factor Serum HLA B-27 Do let me know if you have pain relief after 1 week.
