A small elevated part of rib
Hello, I am having a small part of the rib bone under the collar bone (right hand side). It seemed to be elevated compared to the other rib areas and therefore is making me feel uncomfortable. I am not sure what to make of it therefore I have attached my x-ray report as well as the digital copy. Kindly let me know the treatment to this or how I should go about this problem. Thanks, Rushabh

Rib can be compared to the shape of a bucket handle which is connected to the breast bone in the front and on the vertebrae over the back. The orientation of each may not be symmetric in anybody just as any part of the body. As nothing unusual is found in the radiograph or described symptoms, you need not worry about any anatomical defects. You may consult with a cardio thoracic specialist, for reassurance.
