Fever is because of upper respiratory tract infection ie sore throat.
2.5week is a long duration ,so you should do cbc,crp blood report and treat accordingly.
Next Steps
1)Start warm water with salt mouth gargle twice a day
2)avoid oily food
3)avoid cold water
4)start tab pcm(650) for fever
5)start tab diclo sp for throat pain
