9 yrs my son not going to the toilet reg

I have a 9 years son and he is not going to the toilet regularly on a day. I think he shoud go atleast 1 time in a day but aftet so many time i am regularly asked you for a toilet but he isn't ready to go and but he asked me that he is not ready for go. But i am so worry related this problem so can u pls suggest me for what to do.
