Hi,
My 8 months old baby is pooping a lot today more than 10 times. Usually he does only once in a day. The color is light yellow and its watery. Should I be concerned and go to hospital or wait for another day.

You have to give lots of liquid orally
ORS or lemon water or salt added buttermilk.. frequent sips
Start syp. Vizylac 5 ml two times a day for five days
And syp. Zinconia 10mg 5ml once a day x 14 days
Next Steps
if you find that child is lethargic, drowsy, not taking feeds properly, bring he to near by hospital.
Health Tips
routine food should be continued..
breast milk or formula milk whatever you are giving should be continued..
If baby is active and playful, no fever, passing adequate urine ie. minimum 6-8 times per day, then no need to worry for motion ( once in 7 days or 15 times per day- both conditions normal).
Don't give so much importance to motion unless blood in motion or bad smelling motion or white colour motion.
Keep ur baby well hydrated
Continue to give breast feed as well, till 1.5 yrs of age. Continue to give water and all other food items as before(no food restrictions).
Wait for some more days
Everything will be alright.
If blood in motion/persistant foul smelling motion or less urine output then consult with ur nearest pediatrician or consult online
He will giude you in a better way
Hi! Most important is to Hydrate child well with plenty of oral liquids ( water, ORS, buttermilk, sago water, coconut water etc) child should pass Urine 5times per day atleast.
Give him probiotics and zinc supplements
It’s better to consult your Pediatrician.
