6 week vaccination for my son
My son got his 6 week vaccination today. Its Dtap Ipv Heb1 .. Took the painless one. He had bad pain and we gave him crocin drops once. Until now tracking fever. I see an increase in his number of stools. Is it a common symptom? Please advise.

Looks like your baby is bit sensitive.if given painless vaccine,usually there is no fever, only swelling.anyway  give crocin 4 hourly and apply ice on affected leg. If on breast feeds,and if there is only increase in number of stools, dont worry..

It is of no consequence . Go on giving the crocin drops for a couple of days for pain/ fever( 100  degrees Fahrenheit  or higher)

Its normal to have these symptoms post vaccination .If it persists kindly consult your Pediatrician

Even with painless dpt there might be some pain or swelling which are common. Usually there won't be any fever.  It will improve in next 24 hrs.

Passing stool number of times in 6 wks old breast fed baby is normal . You should notice that the baby passes urine minimum 6-7 times in 24 hrs . If temp is more than 100 F you can repeat paracetamol at 4 hrs interval
