Hello doctor,
I'am 12 week pregnant and my doctor prescribed since beginning 2.5mg folic acid tablet twice a day(in total:5mg)
Is it safe to take that much mg or need to consult again

I don't think that we have any preparation of 2.5 mg folic acid available in India. It's all 5 mg tabs, to be taken once a day.
