52 days old baby got cold and cough
Can we put 3% ns nebuliser to 52 days baby daily 4 times each time 2ml . If not please suggest few tonics or home remedies?

Cough and cold are usually viral infections and don't require much treatment. It may last 2 weeks also. If the baby is active and maintains weight, no need to worry. There are not many safe medicines at this age. 3 % NS can be given. But please visit a pediatrician for check up and advice and prescription

Usually nebulization can be used if any noisy breathing sounds or any difficulty in breathing present so use accordingly

Do not use 3%NS nebulization for normal cough and cold unless prescribed by a pediatrician when absolutely indicated.
Next Steps
Use saline nasal drop (Nasoclear nasal drop) 1 drop in each nostril 5-6 times a day. See a pediatrician near by if there is difficulty in breathing.
Health Tips
Nasal drops are most if the times is sufficient in such a small baby. Watch for fever.
