5 years kid suffering from Cough
My son is 5 years old. Last two years he is taking Montair LC kid table daily. I consulted several doctor and everyone advise that it may cure at the age of 7 to 8. But after did some research i found this kind of problem may leeds to asthama. Also i do not know the side effect of this tablet. Kindly advise. Thank you

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. This medicine can be safely used even for a year. And has no adverse effects. About your other query, yes repeated allergic cough may predispose to asthma, but u can't prevent asthma. If it occurs we can only control it.
