Believe your doctor completely first, definitely it will work. Don't think about number of medicines that is doctor's point of view to what to give.

Many doctors prescribe multiple medicines now a days but that is not the classical way of practicing Homoeopathy. Ideally when all the symptoms of the patient are noted properly, single medicine that covers all these symptoms is selected and it cures the patient wonderfully. Multiple medicines when given together interfere with the action of each other and give partial relieve.
Next Steps
If you prefer, you can initiate the consultation, we can discuss your problem in detail and start the treatment. The treatment consists of a unique Homeopathic medicine that suits you precisely and the do's and don'ts during the treatment.

There are many homeopathic physicians who follow the practice of prescribing single medicine at a time and see its effects and this is the standard way to prescribe homeopathic remedy which is also known as classical homeopathy. This is still consider as best practice. But, if your physicians has prescribed you multiple medications then there must be a reason. Please clarify it from him or her only.
Next Steps
