4th Metacarpal Shaft fracture
Hello Sir/Mam I had an small accident and 4th metacarpal was fractured, and it's just in position, doctor said, no need surgery. So i had plaster of Paris on my left hand from 5weeks, i was able to move my fingers freely but sometimes i feel pain at affected area its like pinching/cramping don't know why?? And my splint got loosed from 3rd week is that okay or there will be any effect on affected area?? How many more days i have to wear this splint x-rays are looking same as first one Give me some suggestions please, Thanks in advance :)

Now that it is 5 weeks don't do anything for now. Remove cast at the end of 6th week and start supervised physio and Occupational therapy to regain hand function. Usually surgical fixation is the best option for this fracture in your age group.
