4 year old 29 pound daughter sick
My daughter will be 4 years old in five days. She currently has been sick since Monday with fever of 101, had a croup cough as a start which turned into a wet productive cough that is constant and will make her vomit as a result. Her eyes are very watery along with a very runny nose. Can I give her Ibuprofen for her fever along with delsym for the cough? I was also wondering if she can have Benadryl on top of it as far as the runny nose and watery eyes or is this all just too much for her?

Care AI Shimmer
If mild, give just steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down. Use paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required. If not improving OR accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed, consult your paediatrician asap. Avoid self medicating.
