Hiccups in a 4 year old
Is it okay for my daughter who is almost 4 years old, gets hiccups once in 11 days. She gets roughly 3 times in a month.

Yes it is normal and hiccups are mainly due to diaphragmatic irritation if there is gastric distension preceded by overrating or eating too fast, swallowing air. Usually no treatment is required. For a young child: * Offer small sips of water. * Encourage slow eating .
