4 weeks Pregnant And Fever
Hi Doctor, Asking for my wife. This morning, she tested positive for pregnancy. She had a high temperature of fever for the last 2 days ( now subsided). We have a few doubts. 1) Is fever during this stage something to be concerned about & any recommendations. 2) She took Paracetamol for the last 2 days. Is it okay to take paracetamol during this stage ( 4 weeks and 2 days from last period start date). 3) She had taken folic acid for 2 months but missed it this month. Is it advisable to take folic acid again. If yes, please suggest the dose. Please let us know if there are any other recommendations, as we have an appointment with a gynaecologist doctor only during the 6th week of pregnancy. Thanks a lot in advance.

It's okay to take paracetamol  , she can continue the folic acid she was taking before. It's too early to say if fever will have any effect on the pregnancy. Your doctor consultation at y weeks will give you more information
