Hello doctor I am moumi pal I am having problems regarding my medicine now I am 4 months pregnant last 3 months I used to take sustain 200mg for which she has given me medicine because I am having spotting problem only 1week now I am having very much acidity problem whenever i take that medicine i fell stomach pain heart burn and all now still that medicine my doctor is saying you have to take till 9 months but in pregnancy there is no such complications everything is normal i have said my problems but she doesnot listen me.please give me some suggestions..

Spotting is not normal in Pregnancy inspite of using susten. Meet ur doctor tomorrow for an urgent ultrasound scan to check the baby's heart beat

Susten is actually a Progesterone which is important for supporting pregnancy atleast till 6th month We can change the route U can shift from Susten 200 orally to Susten SR 300 vaginally Insert the tablet at night deep in the vagina at night The problem which u r facing is a known side effect of progesterone. Taking the pill vaginally decreases the intensity of these side effects
