What are the symptoms of 4 months pregnant?
I am a 30 year old woman and I’m expperiencing motherhood and pregnancy for the 1st time. I am almost 1 trimester down and I am eagerly expecting to get into the 2nd trimester. Can somebody guide me through the symptoms of 4 month old pregnancy as to how things change on the inside and outside of my body? I want to be aware of whaht will happen to me during the course of the next month.

Mother’s body the pregnant woman’s figure increasingly changes, and even skinny women have to change their wardrobe. The uterus rapidly expands in volume due to fetal growth, amniotic fluid accumulation, and the thickening of myometrium. the abdomen noticeably protrudes. The woman's skin becomes dry and slightly stretches in the abdomen area. The pigmented abdominal midline becomes clearly visible on the front of the abdominal wall. Mammary glands continue restructuring for future milk production. The mammary areola become brown, and small nodules of enlarged sebaceous glands appear on it. Thin bluish veins show through on the breast surface. The face of a pregnant woman keeps changing. At some point all pregnant women become similar to each other due to an enlarged, slightly swollen nose, plump lips and typical blush on the cheeks. A growing number of pigmented spots appear on the skin. Without the protection from the sun, the amount of pigment on the face significantly increases and becomes more pronounced. Now many women have a chance to hear their child for the first time. The fetus has sufficiently strengthened; its pushes are getting stronger and are felt almost by half of pregnant women. There is still no point in counting the movements, because some of them will still remain unnoticed. As the pregnancy progresses, the growing uterus increasingly pushes up the bowel and squeezes it. This complicates the movement of the food through the intestinal tube. In this period some pregnant women are disturbed by heartburn, tension in the abdomen, rumbling, and flatulence. To avoid these unpleasant symptoms, you need to eat properly; do not overeat and do not eat at night. Products containing vegetable fiber help to deal with intestinal sluggishness. Pregnancy, or more precisely, the growing abdomen can cause sleep disturbances, especially if a woman is used to sleeping on her stomach. There is only one recipe from insomnia - learn to sleep on your side. To do so slightly pull your legs to your abdomen and put a small pillow between your knees. Insomnia can be triggered by nocturnal calf cramps. Actually, the hormonal system adjustment during pregnancy is not just limited to the gonads. Together with the enlargement of the thyroid gland starting from the fifth month of pregnancy, the production of hormones is increasing. The thyroid hormones cause rapid heartbeat, sweating, skin dryness and increased fatigue. Along with this, the parathyroid gland functions decrease, which causes the deficiency of calcium, leading to muscle cramps. The additional inclusion of products rich with calcium into the diet and calcium supplementation, along with regular and brief exposure to the sun, will significantly improve your condition. It is completely normal for a pregnant woman to visit the bathroom often. However, if during urination you feel even a slight burning sensation, you should consult a doctor. These unpleasant sensations may indicate the presence of cystitis. Cystitis is a frequent companion of pregnancy, but it does not mean that it should be ignored. It is excellent if you exercise regularly. Just remember that ligaments are now softer and more stretchable than before pregnancy, so be careful with sharp movements or excessive loads - they can cause sprains and strains of ligaments. Protect yourself from any cigarette smoke. Passive smoking can lead to insufficient birth weight. Discharge from the genital tract Discharge from the genital tract in pregnant women should be moderate, light, uniform, with a light smell of sour milk. The pattern of the discharge is determined by the vital activity of lactic acid bacteria. Changing of the prevailing flora is accompanied by changing of the pattern and the amount of vaginal discharge. Leukorrhea in trichomoniasis is usually purulent, liquid and foamy; chlamydia has a muco-purulent pattern, and with a yeast infection (the most frequent disease of pregnant women) the discharge is gray-yellowish and cheesy. You should notify your doctor about any changes in the discharge from the genital tract. Any infection can become a threat to the fetus. If any bloody discharge from the genital tract (brown spotting, drops of blood or significant bleeding) appears, you should call an ambulance.
